应国务院副总理张高丽邀请，马来西亚副总理穆希丁将于11月30日至12月5日对中国进行正式访问。

At the invitation of Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli of the State Council, Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin bin Mohd.Yassin, Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia will pay an official visit to China from November 30 to December 5.

问：科特迪瓦日前抓扣了两艘在该国水域非法捕鱼的中国渔船。中方是否与科方就此事进行接触？是否会支付罚金？

Q: Ivory Coast has seized two Chinese trawlers accused of fishing illegally offshore the West African country. Has the Chinese side contacted Cote d’Ivoire? Will the fines be paid?

问：在尼泊尔举行的南盟峰会已经闭幕。中方如何评价此次会议的成果？

Q: The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) summit in Nepal has concluded. What is China’s comment on the outcomes of the summit?

答：我们对第18届南亚区域合作联盟峰会在尼泊尔成功举行表示祝贺。中方代表团团长、外交部副部长刘振民出席峰会开幕式并发表了题为“深化互利合作，携手共同发展”的讲话。中方高度重视同南盟发展关系，并与南亚地区国家加强在各领域的交流与合作。为进一步加强与南盟联系，中国任命了驻南盟代表，提出了一系列面向南亚各国的合作倡议，期待南盟各国积极参与。中方愿在尊重南盟国家意愿的基础上，进一步深化同南盟务实合作，提升同南盟关系，为促进南亚地区的和平、稳定与繁荣作出积极贡献。

A: We express our congratulations on the success of the 18th SAARC summit in Nepal. Vice Chinese Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin led the Chinese delegation to the summit and made an opening speech entitled Deepen Mutually Beneficial Cooperation and Promote Common Development. The Chinese side attaches high importance to developing relations with SAARC, and enhances exchanges and cooperation with South Asian countries in various fields. In order to strengthen the ties with SAARC, China has recently nominated a representative to SAARC and came up with a host of initiatives for cooperation with South Asian countries. We look forward to the participation of SAARC countries. Respecting South Asian countries’ wishes, the Chinese side is ready to further deepen practical cooperation with SAARC, elevate relations with SAARC, and make positive contributions to peace, stability and prosperity of South Asia.
