应国务院副总理马凯邀请，希腊共和国副总理扬尼斯·兹拉加萨基斯将于3月25日至28日对中国进行正式访问。

 

At the invitation of Vice Premier Ma Kai of the State Council, Deputy Prime Minister of the Hellenic Republic Ioannis Dragasakis will pay an official visit to China from March 25 to 28.

 

问：也门首都萨那两座清真寺20日遭自杀式爆炸袭击，造成100多人死亡，数百人受伤。中方对此有何评论？

 

Q: More than 100 people were killed and hundreds injured in the suicide bombing attacks against two mosques in Sanaa, the capital of Yemen on March 20. What is China’s comment?

 

答：中方对也门首都萨那恐怖爆炸袭击造成大量人员伤亡表示强烈谴责。希望也门有关各方加强团结，共同努力，早日实现国家的稳定与发展。

 

A: The Chinese side strongly condemns the terrorist bombing attacks in Yemen’s capital Sanaa which caused heavy casualties. It is hoped that all relevant parties in Yemen would strengthen solidarity and make joint efforts to realize national stability and development at an early date.

 

问：日前，新一轮伊朗核问题全面协议谈判在瑞士举行。中方对此轮谈判有何评论？将继续发挥什么作用？

 

Q: The new round of negotiation on a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue was held in Switzerland the other day. What is China’s comment on this round of talks? What role will China continue to play?

 

答：六国与伊朗及欧盟在瑞士洛桑举行的新一轮伊核问题全面协议谈判20日休会。本轮谈判中各方展示出强烈的政治意愿、务实谈判态度与创造思维。目前，谈判取得了重要进展，也存在分歧。

 

A: The P5+1, Iran and the EU met in Lausanne, Switzerland for a new round of negotiation on a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue. During the negotiation which was adjourned on March 20, all participants demonstrated strong political will, pragmatic attitude for negotiation and innovative thinking. Important progress was made, and gaps still remain.

 

当前，伊核全面协议谈判已进入关键阶段。谈判如逆水行舟，不进则退。各方必须坚定政治意愿，相向而行，及时作出政治决断，共同推动谈判达成最终协议。

 

The negotiation on a comprehensive agreement on the Iranian nuclear issue has come to a critical point. It is like rowing upstream, if we slacken our efforts, we will go backwards. All parties concerned should build up political will, work towards the shared goal, waste no time in making political decisions and make joint efforts to clinch a final deal through negotiation.

 

中方始终秉持客观公正立场，并为推进伊核谈判进程发挥着建设性作用。中方在谈判中就有关焦点和难点问题提出了一系列“中国方案”和“中国思路”，以弥合各方分歧，为谈判贡献了“中国智慧”。我们愿同其他各方一道，继续为此作出不懈努力。

 

The Chinese side holds an objective and unbiased position and plays a constructive role in advancing the negotiation on the Iranian nuclear issue. The Chinese side put forward a host of “China solution” and “China thinking” on relevant focal and thorny problems during the negotiations to bridge differences among all parties and contribute “China wisdom” to the negotiations. We will continue to make relentless efforts together with other parties.

 

问：谁将代表中方出席新加坡前总理李光耀的葬礼？

 

Q: Who will attend the funeral of former Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew on behalf of China?

 

答：李光耀先生逝世后，习近平主席、李克强总理、张德江委员长、张高丽副总理已分别向陈庆炎总统、李显龙总理、哈莉玛议长、张志贤副总理致唁电，对李光耀先生辞世表示沉痛哀悼，向新加坡政府和人民以及李光耀先生的家属表示诚挚慰问。中国领导人将应邀出席李光耀先生的葬礼和吊唁活动。

 

A: Following the passing of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew, President Xi Jinping, Premier Li Keqiang, Chairman Zhang Dejiang and Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli have respectively sent condolence messages to Singaporean President Tony Tan Keng Yam, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, Speaker of Parliament Halimah Yacob and Deputy Prime Minister Teo Chee Hean to mourn the passing of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew and extend sincere sympathy to the Singaporean government and people as well as the relatives of Mr. Lee Kuan Yew. The Chinese leadership will attend the mourning and funeral service upon invitation.

 

问：据报道，澳大利亚前总理马尔科姆·弗雷泽逝世。中方对此有何评论？如何评价其对中澳关系所做贡献？

 

Q: Malcolm Fraser, the former Australian prime minister passed away last week. What is China’s comment? How do you view his contributions to China-Australia relations?

 

答：弗雷泽先生生前为促进中澳关系和两国友好作出积极贡献。中方对他的逝世表示深切哀悼，向他的家人表示诚挚慰问。

 

A: Mr. Fraser has worked actively to promote China-Australia relations and bilateral friendship. The Chinese side mourns for him and expresses condolences to his families.

 

问：本周末，美国方面似乎改变了对于亚投行的立场，表示愿与亚投行进行合作。在美方劝说其盟友不要加入亚投行之后，中方是否愿意与美方就此开展合作？

 

Q: Over the weekend, the US seemed to have reversed its position on the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), saying that it wants to cooperate with the AIIB. Is China willing to cooperate with the US on the AIIB after the US persuaded its allies not to take part?

 

答：目前已有众多国家愿作为意向创始成员国加入亚投行，这表明亚投行促进亚洲基础设施建设和亚洲经济发展的宗旨得到了广泛认同。我们也强调将以高标准来推进亚投行的筹建和未来运作，吸收当前世界上主要多边开发银行的良好经验，推动亚投行高效运作，使其成为基础设施建设的重要投融资平台和多边开发银行，并与世行、亚行等多边开发银行形成有效互补。我们将保持开放、包容态度，欢迎有意愿的国家参与亚投行筹建和运作。

 

A: Many countries have voiced their willingness to join the AIIB as prospective founding members, showcasing the wide recognition of AIIB’s goal of promoting infrastructure building and serving the economic development in Asia. We also stress that we will establish and run the AIIB with a high standard, draw upon the good practices of major existing multilateral development banks and operate the AIIB with high efficiency, so as to make it an important investment and financing platform for infrastructure building and a multilateral development bank that complements the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank and other multilateral development banks. We will stay open and inclusive and welcome the participation of interested countries in establishing and operating the AIIB.

 

问：中方是否派官员出席巴基斯坦的国庆阅兵活动？

 

Q: Has the Chinese side sent officials to attend the national day parade in Pakistan?

 

答：中方对巴基斯坦举行国庆庆典表示祝贺，希望庆典取得圆满成功，也祝愿巴基斯坦在国家发展道路上取得更大成就。中巴关系经历了国际风云考验，中巴已经成为铁杆的朋友。双方高度相互理解、信任和支持，是同甘共苦的好朋友，也是风雨同舟的好伙伴。今年早些时候，王毅外长在访问巴基斯坦期间宣布，习近平主席将于年内尽早对巴基斯坦进行国事访问，这将是中国国家主席9年以来首次访问巴基斯坦，必将成为一次历史性访问。我们希望通过习主席这次访问，进一步巩固中巴全天候友谊，深化中巴全方位互利合作，将中巴命运共同体打造成中国与周边国家关系的样板和典范。

 

A: The Chinese side congratulates Pakistan on holding the national day celebration and wishes it a full success. We also wish Pakistan greater progress on its path toward national development. China and Pakistan have emerged from international vicissitudes as iron friends. The two sides highly understand, trust and support each other as good friends and partners sharing weal and woe. During Foreign Minister Wang Yi’s visit to Pakistan earlier this year, he announced that President Xi Jinping would pay a state visit to Pakistan within this year and as early as possible. That will be a historic visit since it is the first visit by a Chinese president to Pakistan in nine years. We hope that the visit by President Xi Jinping will further consolidate the all-weather friendship between China and Pakistan, deepen the all-round mutually beneficial cooperation and make the China-Pakistan community of common destiny the example and model of relationship between China and neighboring countries.
