正和前线捷音联，

妙香山上战旗妍。

Washing Sands in the Brook

Yan Chu and the King of Qi bade each to come close,

And beyond enumeration were the accumulated contradictions,

Now all of them are swept away when the new epoch comes.

I am extremely pleased at the coming of the poet’s chants,

Which chimes in with the songs of praise from the front of battles,

And on the Mt. Miaoxiang contending in beauty are the colorful flags.
