翻身复进七人房，

回首峰峦入莽苍。

四十八盘才走过，

风驰又已到钱塘。

A Verse with Four Seven-Character Lines

Turning over and plunging again into the seven-men room,¹

I look back upon the ridges and peaks vanishing into the vastness of gloom,

Having scarcely passed the forty-eight spirals,²

We hurried to Qingtang for another time.³

¹ The seven-man room refers to the car Mao Zedong was in.

² The forty-eight spirals refer to the winding mountain road.

³ Qiantang is another name for Hangzhou city.
