A Verse with Eight
Seven-Character Lines Something to Think of June 1966 It
is when in the capital something takes place, And
I come again to be the southern country to step on the fragrant twigs. The
green pines flare out at the sky, And
the faded leaves flutter toward the bluish pools. A
blast of wind and thunder startles the world, And
the streets are all red and green with banners and flags. Leaning
on a railing I listen to the pattering of rain, And people of my motherland are thinking of some things. |
