群山万壑赴荆门，生长林彪尚有村。

一去紫台连朔漠，独留青冢向黄昏。

A Revision of Du Fu’s Poemm

After September 1971

Passing numerous mountains and gorges you reach Mount Jingmen,

And find the village where Lin Biao was born.

Straight from the Forbidden City he went to the north desert,

But only the green tomb is left facing the evening.
