Premier Denis Napthine’s Christmas and New Year Message to Victorians

I’d like to wish all Victorians and their families a very happy and safe Christmas, and a very prosperous 2014.

Christmas is a great time for sharing, for giving and being with your family and friends.

But it is also a time when we think of Victorians who are doing it tough and facing a few challenges.

Can I pass on my thanks to those many volunteers and workers who are working with Victorians who are facing some challenges and difficulties during the Christmas New Year period.

I’d also like to thank those emergency workers, who are rostered on to work during Christmas and New Year -- the police, the nurses, the doctors, the paramedics, all of those who are making sure that all Victorians are safe during Christmas and New Year.

Again my very best wishes to each and every one of you, to all Victorians and their families for a safe and happy Christmas.
