It’s a time to gather with friends and family to share meals, light diyas, and celebrate the victory of light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil, and hope over despair.文章源自英文巴士-https://www.en84.com/3888.html

For all of us, Diwali is a chance to celebrate our shared values as Canadians, like inclusion, pluralism, and respect for our differences.
As we mark 150 years of Confederation in 2017, it’s a chance to appreciate the many cultures and communities that make our country such a great place to live.
Canadians of Hindu, Sikh, Jain, and Buddhist faiths help make Canada strong, inclusive, and prosperous.
This year, we also celebrate a very special collaboration between Canada Post and India Post to create new stamps recognizing Diwali.
On behalf of our family, Sophie and I wish all those celebrating a happy Diwali and a happy Bandi Chhor Divas.
