Winter To
the Tune of Pleasure in Front of Palace Xue
Angfu
Forward
are waves surging, Fishermen
cast nets while spring tide is coming, In
the woods woodmen are busy working. So
loud is the sound of cutting, Harder
than politicians of vanity fair they’re toiling, Even
so strenuous, Enjoying
their life they are vigorous. Whether
fishermen and woodmen are laughing at me I wonder, Or
I’m laughing at them as they are ridiculous.
