这组形容词均可表示“有能力的、能干的”。其用法区别是：

able：指具有某种才干，即在智力、技巧、知识或能力等方面超过平均水平，胜人一筹；不仅指聪明，也含有受过实际锻炼之意。主要用于修饰人。用作定语时，able包含“能干”的意思比capable强。able后常与不定式to连用。如：
